The Rules:
We want to keep things as simple as possible but still we have to follow the law, everywhere we serve. The most important rule is if it is illegal, you can't do it on EpawnAuction.
We don't have the rules finalized, we are still evaluating the laws and factors that make a fair marketplace. Your suggestions are welcome.
- To buy or sell on EpawnAuction you must be a member.
- Members must have a unique user ID.
- Members are not allowed to:
- Use Profanity on the EpawnAuction site.
- Interfere with another members listing.
- Can not misrepresent themselves, including as other members or representatives of EpawnAuction.
- Can not change their EpawnAuction ID more than once in 30 days.
- You can't bid if your contact information is incorrect or incomplete.
- You can't bid on an item if you know the seller, only ues buy it now if you knoe the seller.
- Bid only if you are going to pay for an item.
- All items won must be paid for.
- You can't bid on your own item.
- You can retract a bid to correct a mistake but you must re-bidding on the item within 1 hour.
- You can retract a bid if the seller can't be reached.
- You can retract a bid if the listing has substantially changed.
- Buyers can't offer, or purchase an item listed on EpawnAuction outside of EpawnAuction.
- All reproductions, repainted or restored items must be labeled as such.
- The accepted forms of payment must be included with every listing.
- Sold items must be shipped within 20 business days
- Return policies must be included in every listing.
- Honesty first, items must be accurately listed in the proper catagory.
- EpawnAuction IDs must begin with a letter or a number
- Your ID can't contain trademarks, brand names, or anything that imply's an email or web address.
- Alcohol.
- Animals, live or dead.
- Artifacts & Gravesite Items.
- Batteries.
- Charity or fundraising listings.
- Contracts.
- Counterfit money or instruments, or equipment or supplies for their production.
- Coupons.
- Credit cards.
- Drugs and drug paraphernalia, or items described as drugs.
- Embargoed goods.
- Event tickets.
- Firearms.
- Fireworks.
- Gift cards.
- Government or military documents, IDs, and licenses.
- Government or military uniforms, manuals, and equipment.
- Hazardous materials.
- Human body parts and remains.
- Importation of goods not intended for the destination country.
- intangable items, no Ghosts or Spirits.
- International items prohibited in the destination country.
- Items encouraging illegal activity
- Lock picks & related devices.
- Lottery tickets.
- Mailing lists or personal information.
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, and matrix programs.
- Native American arts and crafts.
- Pesticides.
- Personal relationships or offers.
- Plants and seeds.
- Recalled items that have not had approved repairs.
- Securities such as stocks & bonds.
- Slot machines.
- Stolen items or items with serial numbers removed or changed.
- Surveillance equipment prohibited by the FCC.
- Tobacco.
- Unauthorized reproductions.
- USPS postage meters.
